|That’s a hard question because it just depends on how involved the LLC is going to be. Simply filing a form with the state, you might be able to do it for $300-$500. If you want to get an attorney involved, it depends on how many people you have and how many moving parts you have. Then you want to sit down and you want to hammer out the entire operating agreement. This is going to include, what happens if somebody gets sick, what happens if one partner doesn’t pull their weight, or one member doesn’t pull their weight? The costs can start to go up. What I will tell you is I’ve had many, many, many clients who’ve paid thousands of dollars in the end when they could have simply spent hundreds of dollars setting up the agreement in the first place.
