Do I have to get out of the property 20 days after the summons is received?

On a foreclosure action, when you get served with that paperwork and it says you have 20 days, it’s 20 days to respond in court with some kind of legal response. You’re not just automatically out of your house at the end of that 20 days. There’s still a legal process that has to happen. If you don’t answer or don’t do something, the bank still has to do something else. They still have to get further orders from the court prior to you having to be out of the house. You’ll know when you have to get out because the sheriff’s going to show up and give you a 24-hour notice before you have to physically leave the property.

Together we can live in a biblical way and if need be take a biblical approach to law and life.
