What does the Bible say a Christian should do when they have a dispute with another Christian?

The bible, if you look at Matthew 18 first, it very clearly states that you’re supposed to go to that person in private. See if you can resolve the dispute. If that doesn’t work, you’re supposed to take one or two witnesses, again, go to the person. If that doesn’t work, you’re supposed to take it to the church. The issue that we have nowadays is that often, the churches are not equipped to resolve this if you take it there. It does still you to take it to your church first. If that doesn’t work, if you look at 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, it says at least take it to a fellow believer who is equipped to resolve the dispute.
